What is Airtime Rewards?
Airtime rewards is an easy way for anyone in the UK that pays for mobile phone services to save money on their bills. It works for both contract and pay as you go customers.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to save money with absolutely minimal effort.
How does Airtime Rewards work?
It’s the simplest thing!
TIP: If you enter my referral code W8XGRLLQ in the app after you sign up, you can get a bonus £1 if you happen to spend within your first 7 days.
You’ll also have the opportunity to share your own referral code with your friends & family for extra rewards.
- Download the app – it’s available on both Apple and Android
- Enter your mobile number, so your mobile network can be detected
- Link up all the bank cards you shop with
- Choose your favourite and most frequent shopping categories for easy access to relevant offers
- Shop as you usually would
It’s essentially a cashback-style system.
You continue with your regular shopping habits, the app will record all qualifying purchases and you’ll accumulate a rewards balance.
Once you reach a balance of £10, you have the option to redeem that against your phone bill.

Beauty Retailers on Airtime Rewards
If you’re a beauty spendaholic like me, Airtime Rewards will serve you well.
There are some amazing beauty retailers involved, including but not limited to:
- Boots (online & in-store)
- The Body Shop (online & in-store)
- The Perfume Shop (in-store)
- Charlotte Tilbury (online)
- L’Occitane (online)
- Kiehl’s (online)
- Estee Lauder (online)
- Urban Decay (online)
- Origins (online)
- Lancome (online)
- YSL Beauty (online)
- La Roche Posay (online)
Airtime Rewards is not limited to beauty.
You can earn rewards across fashion, home, food, health, technology, fitness & travel retailers too – you can set your interests. New retailers get added every month!
Reward values vary between 1%-10%, with 2%-5% being the most common in the beauty space.
My biggest reward to date was from COACH – I bagged (see what I did there) a whopping 10% reward on a bag I actually needed, which I simply saw as an extra 10% discount on my sale purchase!
Is Airtime Rewards Safe?
The company emphasises that security is their top priority and that your card details are securely encrypted. They can only see the transactions you make with partnered retailers, and they don’t share your information with any third parties.
I’ve been registered for almost a year and have never had any issues.
Airtime Rewards and PayPal
I learnt the hard way that Airtime Rewards DOES NOT track purchases made via PayPal.
Always ensure you make your purchases directly with your card.
When to Redeem Rewards
You can accumulate rewards for as long as you like before redeeming them and there is no limit.
I’ve found that you have to redeem your rewards at the start of your new billing period, otherwise the transaction will not go through.
I personally don’t like that these are called “challenges”.
This way, you’re encouraged to spend money where you may not necessarily need to.
Every month you can take on a “challenge” to spend a minimum of £5 2-4 times with partnered retailers for a £1 bonus.
I recommend activating the challenges each month, but opening the app as little as possible so as not to influence unnecessary spending. After all, the app is supposed to be saving you money!
Don’t forget to use my referral code W8XGRLLQ in the app after you sign up to get a bonus £1 if you spend within your first 7 days.
I’ve accumulated £32.45 to date, and I’m excited to see what new retailers get involved in the future.
